February 2, 2012 --- The DVD6C Licensing Group (“DVD6C”) – comprising nine leading developers of DVD technology -- today announced that their authorized licensor, Toshiba, filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York to collect patent royalties due from American Media International, LLC – a DVD disc replicator. This action is part of a continuing global initiative by the DVD6C Licensing Group to enforce the DVD6C Patent License Agreement.
