Toshiba, the authorized licensor for DVD6C, files lawsuit in New York state court to collect patent royalties due from SCE Co., Ltd.

April 22, 2016 --- On April 20, 2016, Toshiba, the authorized licensor for the DVD6C Licensing Group (“DVD6C”) - comprising nine leading developers of DVD technology - filed a lawsuit in New York State Supreme Court, New York County to collect patent royalties due from Hong Kong-based manufacturer SCE Co., Ltd. This action is part of a continuing global initiative by the DVD6C Licensing Group to enforce the DVD6C Patent License Agreement.
