Toshiba Corp., the authorized licensor for DVD6C, achieves settlement of claim for royalties due from licensee CDI Media, Inc.

April 28, 2014--- The DVD6C Licensing Group (DVD6C)—comprising nine leading developers of DVD technology—has reached a settlement of its claim against licensee CDI Media, Inc. (“CDI”)—a DVD disc replicator.  The settled claim was brought by DVD6C authorized licensor Toshiba Corp. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York to collect patent royalties due from CDI under the DVD6C patent license agreement.  As a result of the settlement, CDI has been added to the list of DVD6C licensees currently in good standing (the “Licensee List”).
