Toshiba, the authorized licensor for DVD6C, files lawsuit in federal court to collect patent royalties due from CDI Media, Inc.

October 2, 2013 --- On September 24, 2013, the DVD6C Licensing Group (“DVD6C”) – comprising nine leading developers of DVD technology – through authorized licensor Toshiba filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York to collect patent royalties due from CDI Media, Inc. – a DVD disc replicator. This action is part of a continuing global initiative by the DVD6C Licensing Group to enforce the DVD6C Patent License Agreement.
