Toshiba, the authorized licensor for DVD6C, achieves settlement of claim for royalties due from U.S. licensee; proceedings continue against Canadian licensee.

May 28, 2010 --- The DVD6C Licensing Group (DVD6C) -- consisting of nine leading developers of DVD technology -- today announced that their authorized licensor, Toshiba Corporation, reached a settlement of its arbitration claim for royalties due from Advanced Duplication Services LLC ("ADS") (USA) under the DVD6C patent license. Toshiba is continuing to pursue arbitration proceedings against Duplium Corporation (Canada) to collect royalties due from Duplium under the DVD6C patent license.
